Other stories include a modified version of “We’re going on a bear hunt - with a difference!” because we’re going sledging and have other wonderful adventures along the way. Action Adventures also include “Big Brown Bear” but who’s that hiding in the bag? Is that a Blue Elephant I can see? Let’s do the actions and what sound does he make? We can also include phonics and numbers into our sketches so that they are appropriate for schools too.
Hi Sandra,
I saw you a few weeks ago at the Marriot Hotel doing
the entertainment for Sunshine and Smiles. I am involved in the Chapel
Allerton Arts Festival (see chapelallerton.org.uk) and we plan a number of
activities for children, some during the week and others on the Saturday
festival day.
I was very impressed by your Gruffalo Puppet Show and wondered
1. Whether you thought it would be possible to perform that part of your
show on an outdoor children\'s performance space?
2. And if so how much you would charge - we imagine you repeating it
perhaps three times.
Alternatively if you felt it would work better we could have a small show at
the local library during the week.
I look forward to hearing from you.

No Storytelling would be complete without the very Popular “Gruffalo” but prepare to be amazed as you meet the characters from this story. Is that really a snake? Can Owl actually fly? Who has had babies and can we play too? The children help to bring this wonderful story Alive and have an opportunity to practice with some finger puppets.
Meet Leroy, our Narrator (Large Black Puppet who sits on SANDRA’s knee). He’s 5 and just started school and hates it! He is having trouble “fitting in” and isn’t making friends easily. Leroy is great for school projects, topics or awards like the Stephen Lawrence Award as he encourages the children to be completely honest about their feelings and offers some techniques and problem solving to help children deal with real life problems such as bullying, stress, anger, diversity etc
Jam is our large blue puppet who loves being very loud, playing the drums and getting into trouble. You need to meet Jam to understand him!
We have Lettuce our tiny, very shy rabbit who lives in a cabbage patch but can the children find her friends. She loves to play “Hide and Seek”.
There are many more wonderful characters to explore so why not see how many you can find on my website. All of this is brought to life with music, lighting, sound effects and the Puppeteer uses a head microphone so that the children can hear everything clearly. This is an interactive event so the children will be asked to join in with singing, dancing, jumping around, finding things, stroking the puppets and using some of the puppets as well as winning prizes/sweets along the way.
These puppets can be adapted to suit any situation/event and would be ideal for Gala’s, Fete’s, shows, corporate events, weddings, christenings etc
You could combine a mini puppet session with any other activity on this website too – That’s how flexible we are! We have so much choice ie disco, games, face painting, glitter tattoo’s, balloon modeling, karaoke etc. Alternatively, you could combine this with a craft activity – have a look at our Fleggybob pompoms reduced from £7.99 to £2.99 per pack, per child and a great take home gift too. This pack includes a fleggybob craft activity (the children create their own pompom character), a birth certificate and story adventure book. The book encourages creative writing whilst also supporting the children’s reading and writing skills.
Too much choice? Please don’t worry. Sandra is always happy to have an informal, no obligation chat with you to make sure the package is right for your event.
